Welcome to Call of Cthulhu and Everything Else Lovecraftrian, the blog which focuses on horror writer H.P. Lovecraft, his life, his works and the realm he created where humanity is a rational outpost against outside forces beyond human understanding. These outside forces threaten to rip this rationality apart, for in many of Lovecraft's tales the narrators go mad from the experiences of dealing with otherwordly figures.Aside from Lovecraft himself, this blog hopes to cover Lovecraftrian influences on popular (or obscure) culture, the people who influenced Lovecraft, Lovecraft's philosophies, the characters and creatures created and many, many topics I hope to express throughout the blog.
The reason that I created this blog was that I am a fan of horror fiction and the horror realm as a whole. More importantly, I grew to enjoy Lovecraft's writings and the universe he created. I feel Lovecraft is important to contributing to the genre, for many people have borrowed from his works and ideas. In the future, I will bring up material to build up this blog.
